Randy Doyal

Randall J. (Randy) Doyal is a 25-plus year veteran of the ethanol fuel industry, beginning his ethanol career in 1982 with Mountain Development Corporation as a cooker and continuing on to his current position as general manager and CEO of Al-Corn Clean Fuel and Al-Corn Limited Partnership, Claremont, Minnesota.

Doyal received his B.A. from Wayland Baptist University and master of divinity degree from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served churches as a bivocational minister and is a member of Bethel Church in Owatonna, Minn., where he serves, teaches Bible studies and occasionally preaches. Doyal has been know to quip, "If my boss could make wine out of water, surely I can make alcohol out of corn!"

Besides advocating for ethanol concerns, Doyal serves on many industry boards, including the executive board for the Renewable Fuels Association and as secretary for the Minnesota Coalition for Ethanol. He currently chairs the Board of Guardian Energy Janesville, an ethanol plant owned jointly by six farmer-owned ethanol plants. He is also a founding governor and current Board Chairman for Renewable Products Marketing Group, an ethanol and coproduct marketing cooperative that combines the ethanol production of several Midwestern ethanol plants into a powerful marketing alliance.
